LEGALITIES - Third party insurance strongly recommended

Third party insurance strongly recommended. Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the 2024 IFAJ world congress and book your travel, you get an insurance policy of your choice.                                                                                                  The policy should include:                                                                                                                                                    - Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation at the congress, pre- and post-congress tours or through cancellation of the congress;                                                                                                                - Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason;                                                   - Loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Switzerland;                                                                                                                                                                - Failure to utilize tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay                                                              - Force Majeure or any other reason,                                                                                                                                  - Medical expenses including sickness and accident coverage;                                                                                - Loss or damage to personnel property, additional expenses and repatriation should have travel arrangements to be altered.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    IFAJ 2024 world congress organizers will not take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange own insurance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

Yes I confirm, that I have read the recommendation on obtaining insurance above and I agree to attend congress ⁠⁠— including any pre- and post-congress tours I have signed up and paid for ⁠— at my own risk and that the organizers have no obligations beyond what is stated in the text on this form.

Cancellation conditions: Refund of the congress fee due to a cancellation until April 30, 2024 = 90%, before Mai 30, 2024 = 75%, before June 30, 2024 = 50%, before July 31st, 2024 = 25%, no refund for cancellations in August 2024 (2 Weeks before the congress)
